Captain Wayne Howe
Captain Wayne Howe moved to Southwest Florida in 2019 to cruise and fish the beautiful tropical islands and the clean Gulf of America waters. He is a USCG licensed captain. He has a US Sailing Safety at Sea Certificate. And he has captained vessels in waters from New England, Bermuda and the Carribean. He is a veteran of the Newport to Bermuda 750 mile ocean race. An expeirenced delivery captain, Captain Howe has delivered motor vessels from St. Lucia all the way to Miami.
The Knot 2 Shore is a classic 40-foot Mainship 390 Fast Trawler. The vessel is powered by twin Yanmar 240-horsepower diesel engines with a cruising speed of 9 mph and a top speed of 20 mph. The Knot 2 Shore has a fly bridge helm with seating for six people. The lower helm sits inside an airconditioned saloon with teak floors and cabinets. There are fresh water showers, a full size bathroom and complete galley. The cockpit is covered to provide protection from sun and rain. The vessel carries fishing gear for up to six anglers with wet fish and bait wells. The large swim platform makes for easy water access for swimming or snorkling. A stereo system fills the boat with music when appropriate. Families and anglers can cruise in comfort. All Coast Guard required safety systems are on board. The crew provides the ice, water and coolers. You bring your own food and beverages.
